Ayo
This is genuinely one of my favorite features on steam. I blew my buddies mind with this a few years ago after i asked him if he wanted to play street fighter.
Broo, dont get me wrong, I love Markiplier videos for so long, but this dude is Sigma Mark 2.0 👍💪
What game is this?
If corn is a fruit the burbon whiskey isn't ketchup, it's a fruit spirtit, like pálinka.
Prevent donos under $15
I used to upload content and got contacted by all of those. They want you to layer your content with their ad breaks and in return you 1) Get pocket change 2) Leak viewers/subs But there is a sucker born every minute and they know it.
If you have never worked with computer games you have no idea how big this is. I remember how bad tcp/IP auto find used to be because one company owned the patent for the decent version of how to do it.
U can’t stop me eating ma candy !!
Actually, devs do both. Let's be honest. Especially in TCGs/CCGs/deckbuilders and roguelikes, devs nerf and buff simultaneously. This is especially true when something is so good that it fes like an exploit (e.g. Vagante: Knight + Grappling Hook + Sword + Dash; Mage: Eleclance and unlimited Frost Nova freeze). (Btw, I'm shouting out Vagante because it's an amazing-- but lesser known-- classic.)
That’s probably why master chief collection doesn’t have offline multiplayer
Bro created a whole new word that actually makes sense.
I love the smell of freshly cut civilizations screaming and fighting for their lives in the morning!
I always take a nap after I get home from work. It does wonders for productivity at home. Cleaning isn't as much of a hassle, other projects as well feels like a breeze. Overall happiness increases, and I understand why my grandpa and grandma always took a nap after lunch now. Grandpa woke up at 3 in the morning, drank his morning coffee and went outside to work in his garage, grandma woke up at 4 and went outside to do gardening, then after lunch they took a nap, and then they were well rested after that nap, and they could continue working for 5-6 hours more. Naps are the best invention ever made.
Great tip!!
I actually knew about this... But as a new developer I had no idea how easy it was. This shines some amazing light on the subject, I think I want to make a co-op game now
Broo, dont get me wrong, i love Markiplier videos for years, but this dude is the sigma version of Mark 2.0 with DLCs 👍💪
This is why Steam doesn't get as much heat for being a damn near monopoly. It provides services and does what it does better than any other platform.
Bro be annoying asf
W
It's an awesome feature. Occasional 2-3 second lag is the only problem with it
thank u for not blaming the devs, but the customers telling their bosses they want microtransactions
This is one of the reasons I bike everywhere. At least if I get hit, I'm only legally liable if I'm a particularly bad brand of dumbass that day... and I don't need to pay for gas and $1000 repairs.
Except steam play together is horribly optimized. i wish people would just make an actual co-op section. Otherwise you're just better off using Parsec
Now if only steam actually focused on making their play together service good instead of making us resort to Parsec
EXPERT TIP: Let’s say that a game doesn’t support Remote play together. You could just swap the game files and rename the executable to that game and start it up using steam and it’ll allow you to remote play together. I did this to play local coop remotely with a friend on an Epic Games launcher game.
everyone who is driving a car is a dumbass because it is so inefficient... why wasting litres of gas do transport one person and a whole machine, when you can use the gas to transport many people and one machine... the most enery used in driving is to carry around the machine which drives you... what a waste
Thank you! I have been telling people this for years and people told me I was wrong. Every dime they collect from you post insurance is bonus to them.
Dolphin Emulator allows this on GameCube games as well, Mario Party nights are a blast
Step 1, have a friend.
Me watching this reel and commenting while driving with my knees 😅
PGA21 used to have Remote Play Co.op and in PGA23 they removed the option. That's because in some "big" games it doesn't pay probably
Rumble?
They call him the doomslayer
Idk, Steam Remote Play sucks ass for me. We always had and have input lag. (But maybe thats just on me)
Wait.it’s that easy? Tekken 8 had it available on the demo but once it came out they removed it. And it’s that easy…
It's a great feature, but some games have quirks with remote play. For example, the binding of isaac doesn't allow for two keyboard inputs, so one person must use a controller
I do want to say that I recall trying this (like 5 or more years ago) and there was a significant amount of lag for a game where reaction time does matter, although I was trying to play with my friend in america when I'm in england, and maybe it's gotten better over the years.
Angler fish goes rawr
Aaand that's why I hate driving. My attention drifts off to other things way too easily. And before I know it: Whoopsy, there goes that group of school children! ... at least that's what I imagine it would be if I actually started driving again.
This has worked in the past for me. Some games aren't good to use it with like fighting games are laggy with it but it at least let's them try the game for a bit.
oh god dammit not again
I really wish more games had remote play... Kinda sucks they don't.
I love this in concept but ive tries using steam play together and it is the most unbearably laggy thing ive ever experienced. I tried parsec and it worked first try and was smooth as butter. If steam fixes it up, that would be great.
Its not hard, they make it harder.
Thor sure goblin on somethin
Dude, that's awesome.
Steam 30% lookin pretty good right now. Praise Gaben
Ive used this idk how many times
I hate d-cord.............*sigh*........
